Based in Hounslow, Middlesex with excellent links to London, Heathrow, M3, M4 and M25, Thaumaturge aims to offer technical support for international broadcast environments.
I started my broadcasting and production career, working as a tour guide at "BT Goonhilly Earth Satellite Station" during School Holidays back in 1996!
In March 2016, after completing a 6 month full time contract for a major broadcast company, I was asked if I would be available to continue to freelance in an ongoing basis through a limited company..... and so, Thaumaturge Productions Ltd. was born.
I have had an immensely varied technical career from managing broadcast systems and video production teams aboard cruise ships, freelancing in technical roles in theatres, live newsrooms and outside broadcasts as well as Master Control Room and Playout Operations for major broadcasters. I currently work with Sky (UK), Comcast (USA) and Foxtel (Australia) helping with daily technical first line support.
I offer technical support with £3 million Public Liability and £1 million Professional Indemnity cover.
Since starting Thaumaturge has provided staffing solutions for Babcock Media, Discovery Networks, Iran International News, Sky UK Ltd, Comcast (US), Foxtel (Aus)
Going forward, I am currently looking for any additional opportunities for long, short term or ongoing opportunities within AV Support and Production, Outside Broadcast, Live / Corporate Events, Master Control Rooms, Theatre or other interesting technical operations roles.
